Axiostat is a bioactive haemostatic dressing. It works on a unique charge based mechanism of mucoadhesion which forms a mechanical barrier on the bleeding site. Axiostat Haemostatic dressings react with blood cells and create a robust seal. Unlike other Haemostatic dressings that are coated or impregnated with Chitosan, Axiostat is 100% chitosan for faster haematosis, leaving no debris in a wound. Protein free, non allergenic. Can be packed into deep wounds, z fold dressing for fast deployment. Ultra compact and light weight vacuum sealed pack.
