PAcT kits include equipment specially designed to treat major wounds and quickly stop blood loss. The contents were developed in response to national terrorist attacks (including the 2017 Manchester Arena attack) where multiple casualties suffered catastrophic injuries but insufficient equipment was available to stabilise their wounds.
